Terms, in plain language
What this is
Successor is a persistent online world in invite alpha, run by Lycaon LLC and built in partnership with ROYCORP GAME STUDIOS. Access is limited. It is free when admissions are open, and playing it is a favor extended in both directions, not a product you bought.
Your account
An account is one callsign and one password. We hold no email, no phone number, no recovery questions. If you lose the password, the account is gone. There is no reset and nobody who can look it up. Keep the account to yourself; what happens under your callsign is yours.
The world can change under you
This is invite alpha. Saves, balance, availability, and whole systems may change or reset. We work hard to preserve acknowledged progress through crashes and deploys, and we will tell you honestly when maintenance is planned, but in invite alpha nothing about the world is promised.
Behave
Do not attack the service, probe the sign-in, duplicate items, or exploit bugs you find; report them instead. Seats are limited; do not make the place worse for the people in the other ones. We can close accounts that do.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the account page after re-entering your password. Deletion signs you out everywhere, revokes approved devices, and queues the account for removal. A minimal ownership record remains so characters and world history stay coherent; characters go to cold storage until a proper retirement process exists.
Ownership
Successor, its world, and its assets belong to Lycaon LLC. Your callsign is a name you picked, and picking a vile one is grounds for losing it.
Changes
These terms change by bumping the version date at the top. Registration records the version you accepted; continuing to play means accepting the current one. We will not change them quietly mid-session and pretend we did not.
Contact
This cut has no public support address yet (it is invite alpha), so reach the operator the way you already do. A proper contact channel ships before any wider door opens.
